Ashley's Mission Email #61
Today we just got back from a zone activity. That was pretty fun! We just played some
basketball and some Uno and ate spaghetti. Nothing too crazy because the sun is so
strong it wipes your energy pretty fast!
Hna AllenThis Wednesday I got to do an intercambio and work with my hija!! (My mission daughter!) Hna Garcia now has 9 months in the mission and is growing up so fast. It was so cool to get to work with her again now that she knows so much. I’m so proud. HahaJust a quick thought...this week I have thought about how the gospel is so simple yet so profound. We can spend our whole lives studying and getting into deep doctrine and still not know it all but someone with only a year as a member can already be ready for the temple or to go out and be a missionary. It’s so simple that children can understand it. That’s what makes it applicable to EVERY SINGLE PERSON and WHATEVER stage of life they are in. Study the doctrine from the best books and study by knowlege and also by faith. (DandC 88:118 or something like that) You'll be amazed at how it starts to wrap around every single aspect of your life in a very personal way.Love you all!
