as i've been preparing to enter the temple and to serve THE LORD as a full time missionary, i've seen the truth in this statement. throughout the past few months my feelings have been all over the place. i've experienced scared to death, jumping for joy, nervous out of my mind and completely at peace. i've felt that the adversary works to make me focus on the things i'm scared or unsure about, even trying to bring doubts into my mind.
thankfully, we have prayer and faith; 2 ingredients for combatting fear and doubts. i'm learning that it's okay to feel a little nervous because the decision to serve comes with a lot of unknowns. however, we have the HOLY GHOST to comfort and guide us so we can't spend our time worrying. it will be hard. physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, etc. BUT, nothing is impossible when we are on THE LORD'S side. plus, a little hard work never hurt anyone. :)
